I am currently 38 years old, and in better shape than I was at age 30. After having surgery for a ruptured disk in my lower back and a hernia at age 30,and having my doctor tell me that it is all downhill after age 30, I decided I was going to do something about it.
I joined Golds Gym and have been working out ever since, and have never looked back . I am not a personal trainer, although someday soon , I hope to be certified. I really enjoy helping people figure out what works, and what doesn't work for living a healthier lifestyle.
I have recently done some work with John Mitchell for my first portfolio, and I must say , I was very impressed. He really knows how to get a great pic! He also makes you feel very comfortable, and I hope to work with him again.
I don't know what the future will bring, but I am certainly enjoying the trip.
I always try to go for 8-10 reps with 3 sets of each exercise, and I always do stretching and a warm up set first.
Monday is Chest, Back and Triceps
If I really want to push myself hard, I only wait 20 to 30 seconds between sets -- usually I wait 60 seconds between sets.
