I’m John Walton, a natural Body Builder/Fitness Model currently located in Indianapolis, Indiana. I am originally from a small horse farm in Bowling Green, KY – home of the Corvette. I am proud to say that I am a Corvette brat even having the opportunity to work in the factory. I currently work as a Design/Development Engineer at a large diesel engine company. I earned my degree from Western Kentucky University in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on Mathematics, International Business, and Asian Studies.
During school I was always busy. Besides working at the Corvette Plant for a little more than 4 years, I provided daily assistance to a quadriplegic man for 3 years. I also taught Conceal Carry Deadly Weapons Safety courses for the state of Kentucky. This class is aimed at educating people on gun safety and being familiar with how they work. I have seen many people who thought if they looked at a gun wrong it would go off, but after taking this course their fears melted away. They realized guns are a lot safer than they previously thought. On the side, I give diet and fitness advice as a hobby. When I am not at work or in the gym, my interests run the gamut from target shooting, riding my M109R with my dad and brother-in-law, hunting, boating, and anything else outdoors.
I have always been active, but I found my first passion in the Martial Arts realm of Kung Fu where I studied several forms. When I lived abroad in Japan, I studied Aikido, which focuses on blending with the motion of the attacker and redirecting the force of the attack rather than opposing it head-on. Upon my return to the states, I began weightlifting and was enthused by the rapid results. I have continued to perfect my physique and I hope to start competing. I actively train four to five days a week at the local gym. My workout routine changes regularly to shock the muscles, but is always intense. I like to train as a Body Builder, but I do it the hard way – staying lean the whole year. As a hard gainer, I am out to see what I can offer in the fitness/modeling and possibly acting world.
I had the opportunity to work with John Mitchell for some basic photographs and I was very pleased with the shoot as well as the pictures. John kept a relaxed environment while still keeping the energy high at the same time. I would highly recommend his services to anyone interested in kicking off their Body Building/Modeling career. A big “thank you” to Rick Steiner for his help in making this happen.
I recently had the opportunity to work with BBPics again, and it was a fun experience. John is easy to get along with and light hearted. This atmosphere when working with BBPics is relaxed and enjoyable; there was no tension or stressful parts of the shoot - with the exception of flexing all the time. (lol) If you are thinking about a shoot with BBPics, I would recommend it! Try it, but only if you want to have fun!
