Hi, my name is Dan Belot, and I am 21 years old. I live in Fair Lawn, NJ, which is located right outside of New York City. I currently attend Montclair State University where I double major in Biology and chemistry to eventually attend medical school.
I've lived in America for 15 years and moved here when I was 6 years old. I associate and enjoy myself with all types of people and nationalities and don't restrict myself just too Russian friends. I enjoy going out with my friends to all sorts of venues. Whether it's going to a club or to the movies I try to have the best time possible by having little to no inhibitions about what I do. Also I try to meet new people where ever I go because if you close yourself off from the rest of the world and only spend time with people that you know, you won't grow as a person and an individual.
Sports and I have been good friends for a long time. Calisthenics is what I enjoyed to do from as far back as I can remember. My first love was martial arts. I began to study when I was 9 years old and living in Brooklyn, after a few years of training I moved to Fair Lawn. It took me several years to find a dojo adequate enough to which I would devote a substantial portion of my time to, and finally I did. Then I wanted to further increase my physical conditioning and took track in high school. Although I was a big guy I was quite nimble and the coach encouraged me to try out for every event, as long as it didn't include running over 200 meters ( hey I said I'm nimble, I never said I was a track star), And I didn't really like running too far anyway. At the same time I started to run track I began to lift just for fun and for improvement of my physical appearance. After a little while I began spending the majority of my time on lifting and began neglecting my other activities like wrestling, which I only did for a few months. After high school I cut back on the lifting and managed to find a nice equilibrium between spending time in the dojo and in the gym. And that's the way it's been until present time.
One thing I'd like to add is that doing physical activities is what I like to do and I enjoy every time I go into the gym or drink a protein shake after a quick mile run. But that's not to say that I don't enjoy a Jr. Bacon cheese burger from Wendy's at midnight either. The point tat I'm trying to make is that while I try to be as health as I can be, I allow myself to relax and enjoy many many calories of fat, sugar, and other artery blocking cholesterol inducing meals, because as soon as I lose enjoyment in what I do, then there's no point of continuation. On the other hand, if it was my job to stay in tip top shape with no junk food, I would gladly give up my Rocky Road ice cream to achieve the specified goal.
When John first got in touch with me, I didn't really take it that seriously because I've never given much though to modeling of any type. I had my doubts about my body dimensions and of course my lack of experience. But having talked to john and getting my questions answered was a greatly informative experience and I'm slowly beginning to consider the fact that modeling can be for everyone no matter what your body type is. Hopefully I'll be able to stumble upon an opportunity.
I'd also like to say that working with John has been a great pleasure, and I thank him for his kindness, abilities as a photographer and most of all his patience. When my friend and I came out to John's house for the photo shoot we had absolutely no idea what to expect since we've never done this before. But John made the experience extremely enjoyable and I would definitely be willing to repeat the experience.
