I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and have been training people for about 3 years. I have been exercising since I was in grade school and have made exercise a way of life for me. I have a real interest in fitness and the fitness industry. I got into modeling about a year ago and really enjoy that as well. I like all kinds of sports; basketball, football, baseball, volleyball, soccer, swimming, golf, and many others.

My girlfriend and I go to the gym about 4 times per week. Each session I work a different body part so I am working each muscle group only one time per week. For instance: day one, back -day two, chest, shoulders, and abs- day three, legs and abs- day four, arms and abs. Each body part will have about 4-6 different exercises doing about 3 to 4 sets per exercise. My rep range is anywhere from 6-8 to 8-12, depending on the exercise and/or muscle group that I am working.

Abs I train with a rep range of 15-20 reps with resistance. I don't believe in doing 100's of reps when doing abs. They need to be treated like any other muscle group in order to build them. Here is a sample ab routine that I use: cable reverse crunches w/ toe touches with weight resistance, 4-6 sets 15-20 reps per set/ machine crunch with plate resistance, 4 sets 15-20 reps/ and last exercise, machine oblique crunch, (one side at a time) with plate resistance, 4 sets no rest between sides, 15-20 reps per set.

My diet consists of a protein shake and EAS bars in the morning. Mid-morning I eat a protein bar (Pro-42's-ISS, Labrada, EAS, or Designer Whey), lunch I'll eat either tuna, turkey, or lean roast beef sandwiches and some non-fat yogurt, Mid-afternoon I'll eat another protein bar (Pro-42-ISS, Labrada, EAS, or Designer Whey), dinner varies; rice, chicken, broccoli, fish (salmon), some pasta (not very often), evening, another protein bar, before bed protein shake smoothie with frozen berries, bananas, juice.

My advice to anyone just getting started working out: "It just takes time, stay positive, stay focused, and do the best you can, that is all you can do."

I really enjoyed the shoot with John, he is very professional and a great person to work with. I enjoyed the place we went to for the shoot; we were able to get several different looks in one local. John is very creative and is very open to suggestions as well. The pictures turned out great! I look forward to the next shoot with John.

Thanks again for your hospitality John and your professionalism.
