I was just 18 when a friend suggested that I go to a modeling agent. I submitted pictures and actually got booked for a couple of small jobs. I had a career that I was enjoying very much, but I continued to work modeling jobs part time for fun and some extra money. A big turning point in my modeling career came during a photoshoot where they asked me to take off my shirt. I was terribly skinny, and not in good shape. I complied, though not enthusiastic about the idea. After that day I decided to make it a priority to get in better physical condition. Little did I know where it would lead. Getting more muscular and athletic looking led to more fitness oriented jobs. And more fitness jobs motivated me towards keeping fitness a priority. I now realize how much I enjoy the challenge of staying in shape. Going to the gym is my favorite hobby. My lifestyle is centered around it. Now I reap the rewards by occasionally shooting with some really talented and famous photographers. This summer, when I shot with John Mitchell, I was really excited. He had some great locations and ideas. He also agreed to shoot my best friend Riley the same weekend. It was a great opportunity for me to work with another model, and since that model was Riley it was even more cool. The three of us had a blast and shot over 40 rolls of film in less than two days. John was real easy and comfortable to work with. And even off location was the perfect host in keeping us well fed and rested. I enjoyed the BBPics experience very much.
