Hi my name is Nick Miller and I live in Houston, Texas. There are many things going on in my life at the moment, but I hold fitness and nutrition a top priority. Sports, including basketball, swimming, and track consumed most of my childhood and adolescent years. I currently run a Wholesale Supplements store called Mr. Nutrition and hope to own my own business in the future. My entire life, until less than two years ago, I was a 5' 10" 130lb, skinny hard-gainer with dreams of one day having a muscular physique. So when my older brother introduced me to a means of getting bigger and stronger (weight lifting) I immediately became hooked. It started out as a hobby that would hopefully attract female attention, but being as competitive as I am, I wanted to reach my peak potential. So with the help of my brother and all of the bodybuilding magazines I slowly began to transform, doing whatever it took to reach my goals naturally. I consider myself fairly knowledgeable when it comes to training and nutrition, and I enjoy spreading my knowledge to people and helping them work towards a healthier lifestyle. My dad has always been health conscious and been a good influence on my eating habits. I have always been a clean eater because I know the effects that foods have on your body and I feel much better throughout the day when I don't eat unhealthily. Almost everything I know about nutrition and lifting weights I learned on my own through reading and trial and error. Just recently I received help and advice from a trainer who competed in bodybuilding and went on to be a fitness model. He has helped me tweak my diet and workouts to better serve my physique. I meet people all the time that have the desire to be "big" or "cut" but are unwilling to make the sacrifices that are mandatory in reaching these goals. Most of them will find excuses and blame their flabby or toothpick-like physiques on genetics or a slow metabolism. They will say that they just weren't destined to be muscular, but I don't believe in destiny. I do believe in God, but I think that we have the power to alter our own futures and have total control over our own lives. Some of us may have to work harder than others to reach our goals, but hey… life's definitely not fair. A lot of people ask me why I eat the way I do and I tell them "because of the way it makes me feel, and what it does for my body." Their reply to that is "come on… live a little." But for me, living is looking in the mirror and having a six-pack and staying healthy to avoid getting to the point where my children have to change my diapers when I'm 80 years old. After seeing John Mitchell's bbpics.com it was a desire of mine to do some work with him. After sending him some emails and talking with him I learned that he is a very professional and trustworthy guy. He doesn't let anything get in his way even 110 degree weather. At first I was somewhat skeptical about working with him because I had been made aware of certain instances in the modeling industry where people were either lied to or put in an immoral situation. John was totally understanding of this and was willing to do whatever it took to make me comfortable, such as sending me paper work, having me talk to his previous clients, and even speaking with my parents. After all of this I learned that my initial assumptions were wrong and that John is a great and fun guy to work with, and I would be more than happy to do more work with him in the future. Working with John was a great experience. He really knows what he is doing and is easy to work with. He did whatever it took to make me and the other guys comfortable and have a good time. John even made all of our food for us! The work he does is very professional and creative. Working with John was a great opportunity to enhance my portfolio with some exceptional pictures as well as a chance to meet new people and make useful connections. The entire weekend consisted of a lot of work and business, but it was also very fun. I hope to work with John again in the future. View Photo Portfolio Site Created & Hosted by MetroHost.Com
