My name is Salvatore Anthony Ferrara. I was born in Paterson, New Jersey in September of 1981. I came from a great Italian came family and was brought up the proper way. I'm a very family oriented person, good hearted, and I often go out of my way to help other people. I enjoy camping, hunting, and being outdoors which mad me want to join the Army and become a Ranger. I also definitely enjoy spending time with my special someone. In my younger years I was involved in baseball, football, soccer, wrestling, gymnastics, and cub scouts. I enjoy camping, hunting, and being outdoors which mad me want to join the Army and become a Ranger. As I got into high school I focused more into sports and working out. I worked out more often and a lot harder which got me into my body more. I started eating right and ran a few times a week. I was involved in a lot of activities in high school such as the chess club, debate, Italian club, shop, drafting, and REACH. Then I got into boy scouts and became an Eagle Scout when I was 18. After high school I enlisted in the Army. During my first time being on active duty, my training involved high speed infantry training. After that I got into airborne school followed by RIP school, which got me into Ranger school. After Ranger school, which was a very physically demanding training I got into working out crazy and lifting weights. Which lead into a hard core physical training (working out like a mad man). Since I was in tip top shape I went to other physically demanding schools such as Air Assault, Path Finder School, SEARS school. Throughout those schools I maintained a great physical and mental core which makes me who I am today. After getting out of active duty I joined the National Guard, which allowed me to serve my country and go to college at the same time. I have Associates in Criminal Justice. I was instructed by my National Guard unit to go to Iraq, so I had to put my bachelor degree on hold. Since coming back from Iraq I'm now going to school to finish my degree In Criminal Justice. I also work full time as a carpenter in the Union, while still maintaining good stats in the National Guard. I was introduced to John Mitchell through one of my friends who did a photo shoot with him, so I've heard of his good work. So this was the first time that I had the pleasure of working with John. He is a professional and knows his stuff. Also doesn't play games and takes his work seriously. I would recommend John to anyone that is serious and looking to get great professional shots of themselves and trying to get into the Industry. He is very flexible and easy to work with, which made my first photo shoot a very positive experience. Being new in this field, John is an excellent person to work with and was really helpful to me.
