Hi my name is Jeff Hartford. I am 26 years old and from Salem, NH though I currently live in Beacon, NY. I went to college up in NH and met a young lady that is from NY. Things worked out great and here we are today almost 7 years later and I live in NY with that same young lady who is now my fiancé’.

I am the personal training manager at Gold’s Gym in Fishkill NY. I have been training for going on five years now. It is absolutely what I was meant to do, the joy I get out of working with and helping people is fantastic. I believe you need to have a passion for what you do to be truly happy and that is me to a “T”.

Modeling is something I have always had an interest in. It wasn’t until recently that I gained the confidence to follow through with it. My gym has a contest every year called “Body Transformation”. I make it a point to participate in each of them to set the example. In last years program I was able to take it to a whole new level, I actually got to the point that I decided to compete in my first bodybuilding competition.

I competed in the middleweight category in both the novice as well as the open classes. I was ecstatic when my name was called for 2nd place in the open class. My first time out and I came in second to the guy who went on to win the overall! I was by far in the best shape of my life and decided I would like to attempt fitness modeling.

There is also another part of me, outside health and fitness. I am a very family oriented individual. Although I moved three hours away from my family it was for the right reasons. I look forward to starting my own family, having proposed to my girlfriend this past July we are excited to start the next part of our lives together next July when we get married.

Along with family I like to spend a lot of time with my friends as well. The older I get the further I get from wanting to go out drinking and partying and the closer I get to wanting to be active. I like to go hiking, playing homerun derby and just getting out and moving.

After working with John all I can say is, if you get the chance, do it. It was a great experience. John is very professional and knows his stuff. John is great at getting to know you and using that while he shoots you. I had a lot of fun on my shoot and I look forward to getting back for my next shoot. I am very appreciative of how John made me feel as though he was looking out for me and I’m sure he treats all models that way. I look forward to taking modeling to the next level and I know John will be able to help me along the way. I would recommend John to anyone in the modeling field, new to it or experienced. Thanks for your help John I look forward to working with you again, weather pending later this month!
