I'm not a big fan of talking about myself but John asked me to put together a little biography for his site, and because I enjoyed working with him and because he's an upstanding guy, I figured it was the least I could do. I'll keep this short and sweet. First and foremost, I am a huge "family" guy. I am extremely close with my parents, my brother and my grandmother. Without them, I'm really not sure what kind of person I would be. My parents were tough on me as a child and young adult, and at the time, I really wasn't sure why, but within the past 3-4 years it all started to make sense. Life is not a walk in the park and nothing is handed to you. If you want it, you gotta go get it!! So I am without a doubt a "go getter." Growing up, I automatically assumed everyone had as awesome a family as I did. It wasn't until I turned 15-16 years old that I began to realize that the majority of my friends were nowhere near as fortunate as I was to have such incredible parents. They were ALWAYS there for me. They always gave me just enough space for me to figure things out for myself and possibly fail, but were always there to help me get up if I did! I love them dearly and would do anything for either of them!

My grandmother, who has lived with me almost my entire life, also means the world to me! She is probably the most amazing woman I have ever known. She has dealt with more adversity and hardship then one can imagine, yet she has always remained optimistic. You can beat her down time and time again, but she always gets up. I without a doubt acquired that trait from her! She is the most unselfish person I have ever known, always putting herself last. I yell at her all the time, telling her she needs to put herself first sometimes, but she just nods her head at me and laughs and continues to put others first. I am very protective of her. Always have been, always will be!

My little brother, although he's not so little anymore, is and always will be my LITTLE brother. We fought often as children and I used to punch him at least 3-4 times a day for numerous reasons, but mostly for just being my annoying LITTLE brother. But if anyone else ever gave him a hard time when we were younger, they had to deal with me. I handed out a couple beatings to kids who enjoyed picking on him! Moral of the story, if you had a problem with him, you had a problem with me! PERIOD... END OF STORY!! Over the course of us growing up and becoming young men, we became extremely close and I consider him one of my best friends! Although he is my little bro, I have learned some things from him as well. He is extremely persistent and never lets anything get in the way of his goals. But no matter how old he gets, he'll always be my little bro!

As for my interests and hobbies, basketball was without a doubt my first love. I ate, drank and literally slept basketball as a child, teenager and young adult. There was nothing quite like being on the court. No matter what was going on in my life, good or bad, it all disappeared when I had that ball in my hands. I played at Rutgers University for a year before withdrawing from school. I still play in competitive men's leagues, but nothing compares to playing in college. I miss it everyday! I also play in a rough touch football league on Sunday mornings. We have a very good team and actually won the championship of our division in the fall! I'm also a gym rat. I love working out. It's like a drug to me and I’m definitely addicted. I feel like I’m cheating myself if I miss a day. I love keeping myself in great shape and I have way too much pride to let myself slip. When I’m not working, working out, playing hoops or football, I try to get out for the occasional beer with the fellas. I'll throw a couple shout outs to my boys, Luke, Rob, Frank and Brian! Although going out and having some drinks is always a good time, I'd much rather have dinner and go see a movie with a cutie! That doesn't happen often though, by choice! I'm single, and have been for 6 years! I've dated my fair share of girls, but none of them have managed to separate themselves from the rest! I'm getting to the point where I'd like to meet someone who has serious girlfriend potential, but that's much easier said then done! There is ONE young lady who has managed to catch my eye, but as my luck would have it, she's "involved" at the present time. But life is full of surprises and anything is possible so I’m hoping for the best!

Enough about me though. I would just like to thank John once again for having me up to Boston to shoot with him. He is extremely professional and was a pleasure to work with. I'm looking forward to shooting with him in the future. Thanks John!
