Personal
I am a family man and like to think of myself as an exceptionally loving father and husband. I am a proud Texan from the city of Corpus Christi. I am a United States Navy Submariner, Naval Command fitness leader, soon to be certified personal trainer, and OCB Natural Bodybuilding amateur competitor.
My Fitness Journey took a new and exciting twist within the past year but I have always been a sport enthusiast and an athlete. My early passion in life was baseball. My physical health and well-being has been an up and down journey for the past few years and it took a while for me to get a good grip on how I want to feel and look. I love that I am in a position now to inspire others to reach their goals.
Fitness Goals
Since I started this journey about 2 years ago the amount of support I have received from my family and friends has been phenomenal and up lifting. The amount of work, research and sacrifice I made while still being a full time dad and sailor has made this entire experience a treasure. I have met some amazing people and made new friends along the way as well.
I hope to be in and stay in a position to help motivate and inspire others to push in order to conquer their own goals. I love to share experiences and opinions of others in order to grow and continue success. Some of the most incredible experiences I have encountered are not to be on a stage competing or breaking new ground in the gym, rather it is having many of my closest friends and family approach me and ask for help to get on track to accomplish something they may never have thought about.
One thing I can say for sure is that I have learned a lot about food and fitness but the one constant in this whole process is physical activity.
Weekly Workout Schedule (5 a.m.)
Monday- Legs (heavy presses), Abs, and Cardio
Tuesday- Chest (heavy presses) and Triceps
Wednesday- Back, Biceps, Cardio and Abs
Thursday- Legs (Isolation), Shoulders, and Cardio
Friday- Chest (isolation), and Abs
Saturday- Cardio Interval Training w/ Pull ups in between workouts
I used to never like to do legs but as I have grown I come to find that legs are my favorite muscle group to train because it is the slowest to develop. It presents a huge challenge for me and I am dedicated to conquer it.
Ultimately I would love to make an impact with others on a much larger scale. I think anyone can achieve anything in the fitness world and it is amazing to learn what people can do.
Diet
Honestly this is the hardest part for anyone to figure out mostly because everyone reacts differently to different kinds of food. The only recommendation I will make is to research as much as possible to get ideas and don’t be afraid to try new things.
Also, don’t get discouraged if you don’t achieve the results you want. Just keep that head up and stay active. Eventually the diet and food will fall into place with time and continued research.
Personally though, I am a huge steak and potatoes kind of guy!
The BBPICS Experience
Getting to this point has been a long hard struggle for me and it feels great to achieve success and progress. I would like to thank BBPICS for thinking I had what it took to stand in front of a camera and be in this position to help motivate and inspire others. Being a part of helping many achieve their goals is an uplifting experience and it was an honor to work with a great professional in making strides towards achieving goals.
