I grew up in a small town in North Carolina called Rocky Mount. Yea so I guess u could say I'm an ole country boy, small town kid or your own family man. I was raised by the best family a guy could only dream of. Without a good parenthood looking over me, who knows what kind of website I would be on? From firmly built morals to having the most open minded views were taught to me to help guide me in any right direction I wanted to head in. Now that I look back, I have no regrets on the ones I chose to travel down. I picked sports at a young age starting from T-ball to the last day of Varsity sports in High School. Football, Baseball, cross country, wrestling, weight lifting and the outdoors always kept me active and in shape. With an easily built foundation in athletics, maintaining was always easy for me. When I moved off to college, it all went down hill from there. You don't have Coach to make you run those extra laps for being late to practice or gym class to play some foulness basketball game; you're all on your own. Not having Mom or Dad to wake you up every morning was kind of hard to be somewhat productive during the day. By the end of the day I always came up with the excuse, "I am too tired to go workout." So, let's just say I put on my freshman fifteen. Summer was coming way to fast and the abs was no where in site. So, I took a trip down to Wilmington, North Carolina which was only two hours away to see a friend from High School. Oh and by the way, Wilmington is at the beach, Shirtless City. My friend Chris was very active in the gym and also in to fitness modeling. It rubbed off on me like crazy and I decided to move to Wilmington before the summer of '02 started off. Now it's the fall of '05 and I'm in the best shape of my life yet. You see if you put yourself around anything, eventually it's going to rub off on you. It just takes little desire and determination. It's never too late to get in shape. And let me tell you, Once you get there, it's the easiest to maintain. You will have your cravings and urges but, keeping yourself healthy changes your attitude, the way you carry yourself, your effect on your family, friends and even people around you that you don't even know. So, I end in this. This isn't just some photo shoot for hey lets take my shirt off; it's just determination and desire to stay healthy and motivated. Anyone can do it. You got to want it! Thanks for all the support family and friends. What a weekend! It was a great experience to not only travel to the north for the first time but, working with other guys who shared the same passion as me. John is a phenomenal photographer to shoot with. He uses his personality along with his professionalism to set of the theme for the pictures he takes. No matter how hungry tired or hot we were, John always kept us pepped up with positive thinking. I urge anyone who gets the chance to shoot with john, to go for it! View Photo Portfolio Site Created & Hosted by MetroHost.Com
