My full name is Erick Paul Seng and I was born in Chicago on June of 1977. I grew up and still live on the north side of the city. I am a huge Cubs, Bears, Bulls and Hawks fan. I went to catholic schools in the city and then attended Western Illinois University. I got my degree in Criminal Justice and also started competing in bodybuilding contests while attending college. After school I worked at Powerhouse Gym Chicago as a manager and personal trainer. In February 2000, I joined the Chicago Police Department and have been there since. As for bodybuilding I started competitions in 1997. I won my very first show, the Mr. Great Lakes as a light heavyweight, weighing only 180 pounds. I was hooked after that show and have since competed in 16 shows; including my first NPC Nationals in 2003 (Miami, Florida). I came in that show as a super-heavyweight around 235 pounds. I got my feet "wet" on the national level against the best competition in the world. I have appeared in numerous magazines including MuscleMag International and feel like I am just beginning to make a name for myself in the bodybuilding/fitness industry. God willing I intend to continue competitions at a high level and want to see how far I can push my physique. I love the sport of bodybuilding, and want to continue to pursue my passion for fitness for the rest of my life. I want to thank everyone for reading this bio about myself. Personally, I want to thank all those who have been there for me throughout my bodybuilding career. First of all I want to say thanks to God, my mother and father (the best parents in the world!), my sister Amy, my best friend Joe Simioni, Mark, Tony, Dave, Sabrina, the Chicago Police Dept. - the 25th District; the 25th District Tact and Game Teams, MaxPerformance's (MHP) Clark Jackson and Gerard Dente for all their help, generosity, supplements and clothing attire. Check out the ad I did with them on the site. They make supplements that really work! Also, I like to thank everyone at Powerhouse XSport gyms, my friend Orlando and "Heath Kick" for your support, the NPC Illinois - Chuck and Ron. I hope I did not forget anyone now. Lastly, I want to express my gratitude and thanks to John Mitchell of BBPics Photography for this wonderful opportunity. Thanks for the awesome photoshoot and the exposure on your website. I am honored to be part of it along with those other excellent athletes you have worked with over the years. Thank you for your hospitality and generosity during my stay in Connecticut. Your professionalism and enthusiasm were second to none.
